Art in the Park

If you missed the 8th Annual “Art in the Park” on Saturday, September 23rd at Brownsboro Park Retirement Community, you might want to make a mental note to attend next year’s affair.

Art in the Park is located off Goose Creek Road in far eastern Jefferson County.  The festival boasts works of over 40 local artists including hand-made jewelry, candles, paintings, pottery, woodworking, glass and leather goods.

What’s special about this event is its picturesque setting.  It’s a small tree-lined venue with ample parking adjacent to the park.  There’s plenty of good food and drink plus live entertainment.  If you are/were a Cat Stevens fan, you will LOVE this entertainer.  With guitar in hand, this soloist sounds exactly like the British singer-songwriter himself.

This event is in its 8th successful year and plans on being around well into the future.  Normally scheduled at the end of September, you don’t want to miss it next year.  Be sure to mark your calendar!
