Please welcome Kim Hodges to the E’Town office where she will be filling the shoes of long-time employee Carolyn Henderson who recently retired.  Kim is not only a Customer Service Representative but she will help out in FastTrack as well.

On the personal side, Kim has a 5 month-old baby girl, an 11 year-old daughter and a 16 year-old son to round out the family. The family also has two American Bulldogs, CoCo and Tank.

Needless to say, Kim stays very busy and her favorite pastime is enjoying family time.  Welcome aboard, Kim!

A Fireworks Extravaganza

The highly anticipated “Thunder Over Louisville 2019” is near at hand.  The official date for the largest annual fireworks show in the country is Saturday, April 13th.  The show has been moved up a week as to not conflict with Easter.

The Burning Question - On or Off?

Should you leave your office computer on or turn it off at night?  For years we were told to power down to conserve energy. But with the proliferation of viruses and threats over the last few years, this might not be the case anymore.  In the big scheme of things, just how much power are we really saving?  Taking into consideration all the many variables, this might be a tough question to answer. If you are seriously interested, you can always purchase a watt meter to test power usage but most of us won’t go to that extreme.

A Hearty Welcome

Meet Justin Fleischman, our new Facilities Specialist who will be taking over Roy Cope’s position.  Justin realizes he has some hard shoes to fill, but he’s up for the challenge.  He comes to us with over 10 years experience in the field.

Justin likes spending quality time with his two dogs, Nya & Leia.  He also enjoys and has mastered the fine art of fishing.

Welcome aboard, Justin!

Your Top Priority in 2019

As the saying goes, “prepare for the unexpected”.  In business, implementing a data recovery plan is imperative in 2019.  Without a solid backup and recovery plan, your business is in jeopardy of keeping your data secure.  Start with a checklist and prepare for risks with a strategy to protect your precious data.

Employee Spotlight

Congratulations to Roy Cope on being selected as this month's Employee of the Month.  In his 14 years with the company, Roy has always exceeded expectations.  To say he wears many hats is a huge understatement and a misrepresentation of what he actually accomplishes on any given day.

Primarily, Roy is in charge of facilities maintenance, but he's also our plumber, landscaper, delivery driver, HVAC person, event planner and setup, interior designer for the holidays, contact for contractors, etc.  The list literally goes on and on.
