Introducing ... Darryl Perkins

We are pleased to welcome Darryl Perkins, our new General Maintenance Specialist, to Duplicator Sales.  He has 15 years prior maintenance experience and is confident he can do the job.

Darryl is a proud “first-time” father of 6-month-old daughter, Deairra, his pride and joy.   When not being an attentive dad, he loves to work on cars and computers and catch games of the University of Louisville, the Raiders and any team LeBron is on.  Welcome aboard!

Standing Ovation

For the last 13 years, Stephon Winburn has been a key member of our Delivery team.  Customers and employees alike admire Stephon’s work ethic and consider him an all-around good guy.

Lately he has been especially helpful around the building in the absence of a Facilities Specialist.  Stephon, we couldn’t do it without you!  Congratulations!

Meet Kim Hodges

Please welcome Kim Hodges to the E’Town office where she will be filling the shoes of long-time employee Carolyn Henderson who recently retired.  Kim is not only a Customer Service Representative but she will help out in FastTrack as well.

On the personal side, Kim has a 5 month-old baby girl, an 11 year-old daughter and a 16 year-old son to round out the family. The family also has two American Bulldogs, CoCo and Tank.

Needless to say, Kim stays very busy and her favorite pastime is enjoying family time.  Welcome aboard, Kim!

Meet the New Guy

Meet Tom Jeffries, our new Shipping and Receiving Clerk.  Tom comes to us with over 15 years of shipping experience.  He is married and has three children and a Sharp Pei/German Shepherd mix puppy named “Chance”.

A Fireworks Extravaganza

The highly anticipated “Thunder Over Louisville 2019” is near at hand.  The official date for the largest annual fireworks show in the country is Saturday, April 13th.  The show has been moved up a week as to not conflict with Easter.

Employee Spotlight

Jennifer returned to Duplicator roughly a year ago after a brief hiatus.  Thankfully she resumed her position in Cash Receipts in the Accounting Department and has never looked back.

Jennifer is a dedicated and knowledgeable employee with good organizational skills and a friendly disposition.  Congratulations on being selected as this month’s Employee of the Month.

Happy Workplace

Duplicator Sales & Service and Derby City Litho appreciates the loyalty that so many employees have shown throughout the years and invite you to join us in celebrating our employees’ working milestones for the months of December, January and February:

The Burning Question - On or Off?

Should you leave your office computer on or turn it off at night?  For years we were told to power down to conserve energy. But with the proliferation of viruses and threats over the last few years, this might not be the case anymore.  In the big scheme of things, just how much power are we really saving?  Taking into consideration all the many variables, this might be a tough question to answer. If you are seriously interested, you can always purchase a watt meter to test power usage but most of us won’t go to that extreme.
