Please extend a warm welcome to Leah Josiah, our new Rental Billing Specialist in the Accounting Department.  Leah has a strong background in Administration & Management as well as Accounting.  She and her family first came to the United States from Kenya in 1973 where she worked for the U.N. in Washington, DC.  Years later, in 2010, she was granted citizenship.

Let's Celebrate!!

“I think the foremost quality – there’s no success without it – is really loving what you do…”
Malcolm Forbes

Why Color?

~~     Studies by the Institute for Color Research reveal people make a subconscious judgment about a person, environment, or product within 90 seconds of initial viewing and that between 62% and 90% of that assessment is based on color alone.  Further research shows that catching the buyer’s eye and conveying information are crucial to successful sales and the addition of color only intensifies that first impression.

~~Here at Duplicator Sales, we cannot stress enough how we value our loyal and growing customer base.  As our founder, the late Mr. Harry Nash said repeatedly, “We don’t pay anyone.  Our customers pay all of us!  So we work hard at total customer satisfaction.”  Having said that, please join us in welcoming our new and returning customers:

Introducing our new Employee ...

Please give a warm welcome to Kaylah Wilson, our new Emerging Media Specialist at Derby City Litho.  Kaylah has just graduated from the University of Kentucky with degrees in Art Administration and Digital Media.  She will be responsible for Derby City's Digital Storefront as well as Social Media.
As you probably guessed it, she loves any and all "computer stuff".  She's also in the process of moving from Lexington to Louisville with her brand new Yorkie puppy named Peko.  Welcome aboard, Kaylah!!

New Employee

Please give a warm welcome to Nathan Herl, our new Bindery Manager at Derby City Litho.  Nathan comes to us with over 5 years experience in Bindery and over 22 years expertise in the printing business itself.

On the personal side, he has two children (ages 17 & 19) and 5 cats.  He enjoys salt water aquariums, bike riding, hiking and cheering for the Louisville Cardinals.  Welcome aboard!

Employee of the Month

~~Congratulations to Robin McCordy, our Employee of the Month for November.  Robin has been with Derby City Litho as a pressman for 12 years and in that time has always printed the quality work that we’ve come to expect.
He is proficient in running all presses and even helps out with handwork as needed.  Rob is one who doesn’t have much to say but his work ethic speaks volumes.  He consistently does a great job and is one of the reasons that loyal customers return time after time.

~~Meet Bill Jackson, new to the Service Department but certainly not new to the copier industry.  Bill has just relocated to Louisville from Chicago and is celebrating his 31st year in the business.  He's done just about everything from servicing copiers to teaching classes to specializing in production print (the last 20 years).  He will be working on the Ricoh Production Pro Series.
Bill has been married for 35 years and has 3 children and 4 grandchildren with 1 on the way!  In his free time, he loves to fish and enjoys good food!  Welcome aboard!

Small Footprint ... Big Features

~~The A4 color multi-functional marketplace is in high demand these days and Ricoh has introduced the MP C306 just in time.  It will be a strong competitor with any unit in this arena.

Employee of the Month

~~Jason Klusmeier has been with us for some time now and is a valued part of the Recon Team.  Not only has he been quick to learn, but his knowledge of basic and not so basic computer “stuff” has proven to be quite helpful.
Recently he was given the responsibility of keeping the machine firmware folders up-to-date.  He also stepped up his production when Doris was put on light duty and he essentially kept the recon machine orders on track and completed on or before their due dates.  Hats off to Jason who truly deserves this honor!
