August Employee of the Month

Congratulations to Sarah Paynter, head of Human Resources here at Duplicator.  It's a known fact that Sarah has excellent people skills which certainly make her a pleasure to work with.  Considering the many responsibilities she has, it's good to know she handles with ease any situation that may arise.  Whether it be employee relations, benefits, recruiting, etc., it's reassuring to know we're in such capable hands.

Quick Tips to Consider Before Calling for Copier Service

In order to save time, frustration, and money, consider using these tips before calling for service on your copier.

*First and foremost, check the electrical outlet.  If you have a power protection strip, make sure the light is on and you have power.

*If your device won’t print, copy or fax, be sure to check the paper and toner levels.  Also be sure to check your operation panel to see if you have any service codes or alerts to be aware of.

Dig Deep!

~~With another school year just around the corner, the employees of Duplicator Sales decided to “dig deep” and break last year’s record of collecting 70 backpacks for the Volunteer of America’s Backpack Program.  For those who are unaware, the V.O.A. annually helps thousands of homeless and at-risk children in local communities to return to school with the basic supplies needed.

We Couldn't Do It Without You!!

~~Customers are crucial to the success of any business and we at Duplicator Sales & Service value our loyal and growing customer base.  Without further ado, meet our new and returning customers:

~~Please extend a warm welcome to our new Shipping and Receiving Clerk, Kenneth Magnotte.  With over twelve years shipping/receiving experience, Kenneth is more than familiar with the day-to-day operations of the department.   On the personal side, he has a small baby girl, Skylar, just six months old and is engaged to be married sometime in the very near future.  Born and raised in Orlando, Florida, it’s no surprise Kenneth is a big time Gator fan, both in football and basketball.  In fact, he’s a big sports fan in general.  He also enjoys his pets - a snake, a bearded dragon and African c

Introducing ...

~~Meet Matt Gilmore, a new Field Technician in our Service Department.  Matt comes to us with over 6 years auto mechanic experience and, with this know-how, should make a smooth transition over to copier repair.  He is married and has a brand new baby girl, Aubrie, who is now 3 months old.  In his free time, Matt enjoys photography and cheering for the University of Louisville Cardinals.  Welcome aboard!

The Advantages of an On-Site Wide Format Printer

~~If your business prints a lot of wide format materials – posters, banners, blueprints, point of sale signage, etc., you could benefit from bringing wide format printing in-house.  Having a wide format printer on-site allows businesses to cut down on the print work that is currently outsourced.  You’ll save time and money since you can print your projects exactly when you need them.

Welcome Aboard!!

Please join us in welcoming Rick Page, our new Inventory Control/Facilities Part-Time Floater.  Rick has a strong background in the printing and paper business and will be a big help to many departments.  On the personal side, he's been married for 39 years and has 2 daughters.  Rick enjoys golfing, canoeing, camping and umpiring baseball games.  On top of that, Rick and his wife volunteer their time to entertain at nursing homes and retirement communities.  As if that wasn't enough, Rick plays a mean game of Scrabble.  Welcome aboard!

Employee of the Month

~~   Charles is a Field Product Specialist in our E'Town office who works on color and black and white devices.  Soon he will be celebrating his 20th year with the company.  Since he covers the majority of our copier line, his product knowledge makes him the “go-to-guy” with some of our more challenging calls.  Needless to say, he's a huge help in all areas and even helps out on the connectivity side as well.
