Business Technology Association Scholarship Recipient

     As the sponsoring dealer for Business Technology Association, we would like to congratulate Blaise McCormick, son of employee Steve McCormick, on his recent scholarship.  Blake was President and Valedictorian of his senior class and a member of the National Honor Society.   BTA and Duplicator Sales presented him with a check in the amount of $1,000.00 to help him continue his studies at Asbury University where he will study Sports Management or Education.  Congratulations!

     Please join us in recognizing Judy Sanders as our Employee of the Month.  Judy has been with the company for just short of 11 years and in that time she has proven to be a great asset to the Accounting Department.
     Judy handles all lease approvals and lease billings as well as short-term rentals.  She is organized and thorough and very conscientious.  Since Judy always has a cheerful outlook, she is a pleasure to work with.  Congrats!

   The MP 305spf is a 31 page per minute multifunctional device, the newest addition to Ricoh’s product line-up.  Ricoh touts its newest hybrid device as an A3 (11 x 17) capable MFP in an A4 footprint.  It’s designed for users who are limited in space and who might occasionally require A3 capabilities, such as 11x17 printing.

~~Whether he’s helping customers or raccoons (in distress), Lonnie is the go-to-guy in E’Town regarding equipment and supplies.  He is a valuable employee whose number one priority is “taking care of the customer”.   In his role as Salesperson/Customer Service Rep., Lonnie has established good working relations with customers and fellow employees alike.

Buying a Reconditioned Copier: Is This a Good Idea?

     When it comes time for a business to purchase a multi-functional copier, there are many things to take into account.  One crucial consideration would be to look at new or reconditioned machines. 
       Most businesses have a budget, so purchasing “new” might be a hard obstacle to overcome.  And if you are a start-up company, purchasing new might be totally out of the question.  It’s good to know that you can get a reconditioned piece of equipment for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

Duplicator Sales & Service is proud to be the Clown Headquarters for the 2016 Pegasus Parade.  In fact, we have had the pleasure of providing this service for 20 plus years.  DS&S is strategically located at the very start of the parade at Campbell & Broadway.  Our garage area provides ample room for the “funny people” to meet, get their costumes together and basically entertain all employees coming and going.  And, by the way, we are a great audience!


     Steve, a.k.a. "Stevo", has the unique ability to recognize and react to sales opportunities that have resulted in mutual successes for him, his customers and Derby City Litho.  In the tradition of DCL, Steve strives and pushes us ALL to achieve perfection with a strong commitment to excellence for his customers.  He has a personal drive like I've never seen in my 25 years at Derby City.
